What does SCORE do? We mentor people who want to start a business and people who are already in business to help improve their performance. We also present several educational series led by our mentors and other industry experts. Who are your Mentors? Our Mentors are retired professionals and former busi- ness people from all types of backgrounds, such as banking, finance, manufacturing, hospitality, marketing and sales, et. Many have direct experience in running small businesses. How much time do Mentors give? SCORE is a volunteer organization, there is no time requirement.. Mentors spend as much time as they feel necessary to accommodate their client's situation. They take as many clients as the feel they can handle. How can I become a Mentor?
